Coronavirus Update 2021
A Note to our Clients and Community Supporters:
During this challenging time of the Coronavirus
pandemic, the Croton-Cortlandt Food Pantry is committed to remaining open and to serving those in need.
We are currently operating as a drive-through pantry in the parking lot behind Holy Name of Mary Church in Croton in order to increase safety for both clients and volunteers.
Our demand has surged during the pandemic, and we are now serving more than 150 households per week. This includes our regular clients as well as people who have never been to a food pantry before.
We are extremely grateful to our community for standing with us at this time through generous monetary donations as well as offers to volunteer.
To support us by making a donation, please click on the "Donate" button above. We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
We would like to say a special thank you to The Rotary Club of Croton-on-Hudson for packing our fresh produce and delivering our Thanksgiving turkeys; The Croton Lions Club and Grace Hall for packing hundreds of food bags each week; The Croton Girl Scouts for doing a huge food drive for us in November; and our hardworking volunteers for keeping the pantry up and running!
We are currently receiving food supplies from Feeding Westchester, our county Food Bank, who has been providing us with an ongoing supply of food to meet our ever-increasing demand. We are also working with our local stores - Baked by Susan, Bagels on Hudson, Apple Farm, and Shoprite -
to bring in additional food supplies.
Thank you to our community - your support is invaluable to us, especially at this difficult time!
