Get Involved

We welcome you to support our efforts to alleviate hunger in our community! See below for ways to get involved with the Croton-Cortlandt Food Pantry.

 

We are a 501(c)(3) organization, and your donations of money and/or food are tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. We are registered with the Charities Bureau Registry in the office of the New York Attorney General. You may request a copy of our financial report from the Registry at the website of the Charities Bureau, https://www.charitiesnys.com/, or by mail to New York State Attorney General, Charities Bureau, 28 Liberty Street -15th Floor, New York, NY 10005, or by contacting us directly.  Information about New York charitable organizations can be found at the Charities Bureau website (above) or by calling the Bureau at (212) 416-8401.

Volunteer

We are a totally volunteer-run organization!

  • We currently have more than 50 regular volunteers who do everything from serving on the board to giving out food on Saturdays to unloading the food truck on Fridays.

  • Our volunteers range in age from high school students to senior citizens.

Donate Money

Monetary donations are always appreciated since they enable us to buy exactly what we need and to buy it in bulk.  We welcome any donation large or small!

Support Our Projects

  • We are lucky to have organizations and individuals throughout the community who organize food drives, fundraisers, races and other events to raise money and collect food for the CCFP.  When you support these projects, you support the food pantry.
