We welcome you to support our efforts to alleviate hunger in our community! See below for ways to get involved with the Croton-Cortlandt Food Pantry.


We are a 501(c)(3) organization, and your donations of money and/or food are tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. We are registered with the Charities Bureau Registry in the office of the New York Attorney General. You may request a copy of our financial report from the Registry at the website of the Charities Bureau,, or by mail to New York State Attorney General, Charities Bureau, 28 Liberty Street -15th Floor, New York, NY 10005, or by contacting us directly.  Information about New York charitable organizations can be found at the Charities Bureau website (above) or by calling the Bureau at (212) 416-8401.


We are a totally volunteer-run organization and we can always use new volunteers! 


  • We currently have more than 50 regular volunteers who do everything from serving on the board to giving out food on Saturdays to unloading the food truck on Fridays.

  • Our volunteers range in age from high school students to senior citizens.

Donate Money

Monetary donations are always appreciated since they enable us to buy exactly what we need and to buy it in bulk.  We welcome any donation large or small!

Donate Food

  • Food donations are welcome and can be delivered when we are open on Saturday mornings between 10:00 am and 12:00 noon.

  • To arrange non-Saturday food donations, please contact Maria Rykowski at

  • Please only donate food that is unexpired and unwrapped, and do not leave food outside when the food pantry is closed.

  • Most Needed Food Donations include: Cereal, Soup, Rice, Canned Tuna, Canned Beans, Pasta, Tomato Sauce, Peanut Butter, Canned Vegetables and Canned Fruit.

Support Our Projects

  • We are lucky to have organizations and individuals throughout the community who organize food drives, fundraisers, races and other events to raise money and collect food for the CCFP.  When you support these projects, you support the food pantry.
