History
The Pantry was founded in 1983 as "Cortlandt Emergency Food Bank" by Rev. Sandra Myers, then pastor of Asbury United Methodist Church. This was an outgrowth of the Harry Chapin Memorial Run Against Hunger, an annual event to fight hunger established the previous year.

In 2008 the Pantry became a 501(c)(3) corporation.

In 2014 the Pantry was renamed “Croton-Cortlandt Food Pantry.”

In 2016, to support a growing client base, the Pantry moved to Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church in Croton-on-Hudson.
