Community Support for the Food Pantry

Throughout the year, we receive a generous outpouring of support from individuals and organizations in our community who stock the pantry, pack grocery and produce bags, and organize food drives, fundraisers, races, and other events to raise money and collect food for the Croton-Cortlandt Food Pantry.

Our community partners have been especially supportive this year - since day one of the coronavirus pandemic - and we simply could not help as many people as we do without this support.  Here are some of the projects and events they organize for us:

Year-Round

  • The Croton Rotary Club (middle photo) packs our produce bags each week, and provides our Thanksgiving turkeys as well.

  • Our Truck Team (bottom photo), comprised of community volunteers, unloads the Feeding Westchester Truck and shelves thousands of pounds of food every week.

  • Baked by Susan and Bagels on Hudson in Croton provide fresh bagels and baked goods every week.

  • Feeding Westchester Food Bank (the local chapter of Feeding America) provides us with an ever-growing supply of food
